Membership Terms & Conditions
Health Commitment Statement
Your health is your responsibility. At Manor, we are committed to helping you safely enjoy our facilities and services. To that end, here’s what we can reasonably expect from each other:
Our Commitment to You

We respect your right to choose the type and intensity of exercise that suits you. We ask only that you stay within your own limits.

We will ensure our facilities and equipment are maintained to a safe standard.

Our staff will hold relevant qualifications in accordance with fitness industry standards.

If you inform us of a disability that affects your ability to access our facilities, we’ll consider reasonable adjustments to support your participation.
Your Commitment to Us

Do not exercise beyond your own physical capabilities. If you have any medical condition that may impact your safety, please seek medical advice before using our facilities.

Familiarise yourself with all safety instructions, rules, and notices. Do not participate in activities deemed unsuitable for you.

Notify us immediately if you feel unwell. While not medically qualified, staff trained in first aid will be available.

If you have a disability, follow any guidance we provide to ensure your safety.

The Membership Contract
These Terms & Conditions (the “Conditions”), together with your membership type and our studio rules (available here), form your contract (“Contract”) with WorkIt Group Ltd, trading as Manor.
If you have questions about the Contract, please speak to us directly.
1. Minimum Age
You must be 16 or older to train at Manor. Members under 18 require written consent from a parent/guardian acknowledging associated risks.
2. Your Health
You confirm that:

You are in good health and aware of the physical risks associated with exercise.

You participate at your own risk and have sought any necessary medical clearance.

We are not liable for any health advice given.
3. Membership Start Date
Your membership begins once:

You agree to these Terms & the Health Commitment Statement,
-
Your liability waiver is signed.
4. Monthly Session Allowance
Session allowances are fixed monthly. Unused sessions do not roll over and are forfeited at your next billing date.
5. Cooling-Off Period
You may cancel your membership within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not used any sessions. If any sessions are booked or attended within this time, the right to cancel is forfeited.
Payments & Fees
6. Billing

Membership fees are billed monthly in advance via direct debit or card.
-
You are responsible for ensuring valid payment methods and available funds.
-
Failed payments may result in suspension and additional fees.
7. Amending Your Membership
You may upgrade your membership during the initial term if:

The new contract is of equal or greater value;
-
You notify us at least 30 days before your next billing date;
-
A transfer fee is paid (if applicable).
8. Late Payments
Unresolved debts may be passed to a collection agency and may include additional fees. Your access may be suspended until payment is received.
9. Contract Renewal
Unless cancelled with 30 days' written notice prior to billing, your membership will automatically renew under the same terms.
Usage Guidelines
10. Open Gym Access
Use of Open Gym is subject to:

Booking in advance via the Manor app;
-
Checking in on arrival;
-
Keeping the area tidy and equipment returned;
-
Use during designated hours only.
11. Cancellations
-
Cancel sessions with at least 8 hours' notice or forfeit the credit and incur a £5 late fee.
-
No-shows incur a £7.50 fee.
-
Entry is not permitted 5 minutes after class starts; full charges still apply.
Membership Cancellations
12. General Cancellation
-
A 30-day written notice is required.
-
Cancellation mid-term incurs an 80% fee of the remaining contract unless due to injury (Doctor’s note required).
-
After the initial term, auto-renewal applies unless cancelled with proper notice.
13. Cancellation Exceptions
You may cancel early without penalty if:
-
Fees increase and you notify us within 45 days;
-
Your home studio closes for 30+ consecutive days;
-
A serious illness/injury prevents training for at least two months (with medical proof).
14. Early Termination
You may terminate early due to unavoidable life changes (e.g. relocation) by paying 80% of your remaining contract. No further fees will be charged thereafter.
We may cancel your membership if:
-
You breach contract terms;
-
Your actions pose a risk to others;
-
Payments are overdue by 30+ days;
-
False information was provided during sign-up;
-
We cease operations.
In such cases, we may retain payments to cover losses or outstanding dues.
Freezing Membership
We understand that life can sometimes disrupt your routine. To support this, Manor offers a flexible membership freeze (suspension) policy. Members may freeze their membership for up to 14 days per calendar year, which can be taken as either:

One continuous 14-day block, or
-
Two separate 7-day blocks.
A minimum of 14 days’ written notice is required before your next billing date for each freeze request. During a freeze period, access to Manor facilities and sessions will be temporarily suspended. Your membership term and billing cycle will be extended by the number of days frozen.
Additional freeze time beyond this annual allowance is only permitted in exceptional circumstances (e.g. illness or injury) and must be supported by valid medical documentation (such as a doctor’s note) or approved at our discretion.

Other Terms
15. Waitlists

You’ll be auto-added from waitlists up to 1 hour before class. Standard cancellation rules apply.

Pay-as-you-go credits will be charged once added.
16. Personal Belongings

Manor is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged belongings.

Unclaimed items are stored for 4 weeks before being donated to charity.
17. Personal Data
Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see here). We use your data to deliver services, manage memberships, and for legitimate business operations.
18. Marketing
Unless opted out, you may receive Manor updates, promotions and offers. If consented, third-party offers may also be shared. You can opt out at any time.
19. Use of Your Image
You consent to photos/videos being taken during training for promotional purposes unless you inform us otherwise.
20. Pandemic Liability
You accept the risk of illness (including viruses) when training at Manor. We follow all applicable government guidelines, but cannot accept liability for transmission. You agree to report any symptoms and avoid our premises if unwell.
21. How to Contact Us
To cancel, freeze, or amend your membership, contact us in writing via your home studio’s reception or through the contact details on our website.
22. Legal Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be resolved in its courts. If we choose not to enforce a term at any point, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
