After some well-earned rest we roll into 2025 with renewed focus across our programmes.
PROGRAMMING UPDATES
GasTank and Capacity programming have short, medium and long form blocks to build out every element of your engine. If your goal is power, make sure you get along to Tuesday and Saturday’s sessions for shorter more explosive intervals.
Volume splits progress to upper body pull focused Tuesdays, push day on Thursdays with BB bench as the key lift, and a leg day with back squat and deadlift on Saturdays.
In Strength we’re going heavy, following Jim Wendler’s famed the 5/3/1 protocol. We will be lifting through sets of five, three, and one rep over the course of weeks. This has been helping lifters build strength in some of the heaviest movements in the gym, the squat, deadlift, bench press, and overhead press —for years. Want to get seriously strong? NEW GROUP SESSIONS
Olympic Lifting
January’s sessions led by Justine will focus on cleans and overhead work. Whilst Tuesday evenings sessions at SE1 are removed from the schedule for now, stay tuned for an upcoming skills workshop to support those who have entered Winter Turf Games.
