It’s with a heavy heart we say goodbye to two of our coaches at MANOR. At the end of July both Olivia Galvin and Florence Wong will be leaving us to start an exciting new chapter.
Liv has been a key member of the team across both SE1 and SW1 for the past year, with her Irish charm she’s kept us all entertained (even Ryan says she has good banter). Her Volume sessions have been amazing and she’s imparted some excellent knowledge onto members across MANOR. She’s going to be taking some time out abroad, so keep your eyes peeled to keep up to date with her travels!
It’s a shame to also announce that all-round SE1 ledge, Crossfit athlete and SAS Who Dares Wins #6 Flo will be stepping back from her regular teaching duties at the end of the month. I’m sure you’ll all join us to wish her the very best in her next chapter dedicating more time to her passion of training for, competing and now coaching Crossfit along with an exciting new venture helping run fitness retreats. Her weekly classes at SE1 will be sorely missed however she will remain a part of the MANORFAM and run monthly lifting skills workshops and events…..stay tuned for the first event later this summer!
GAME AF will remain but in a different format as 8 weeks prior to the main fitness competitions on the MANOR events calendar we will begin a specific supportive training cycle. So, if you’re looking to up your game make sure you get along to these sessions once announced.
Aside from this, we will be reinstating Thursday VOLUME as well VOLUME and CAPACITY on a Saturday.
We’ve loved having both as part of the coaching team and they’ve bought a lot of fun and value to us as coaches and to you all as a community and we cannot thank them both enough.
BUT don’t worry, we’re planning on having a big send off on the 29th July in the form of a GET FRAGGED, followed by a social in MCP, and onto a nearby venue where the farewells can continue. More details to follow but get involved and book your spot now
